“ I haven't been to this H-Mart in a while, but since they updated/remodeled the inside - they've really upped their game! They store itself is laid out a lot better, nice modern signage to clearly label where items are. There also appears to be a significant increase in their pre-made food selection (large onigiri, roll selection). Also appears that they have increased in their Filipino food options as well. Definitely a nice staple store for Asian groceries. Just having it be in a center with Paris Baguette, ArtBox, makes it now a fun one stop shop! ”
“ Very clean at Korean standard clean which means high. That's why I love Hmart. Staff keep things very sanitary and good. They sell food and veges and fruit and Korean shampoo and appliances and aprons and there is also a food court. Seating for food court which closes at 7:30pm to 8:00pm while the store itself closes at 10pm. So much to try in the frozen and snacks section as well as meats and seafood. Huge free parking lot. Also a a free bathroom. And kimchi fridges and freezers and furniture also. ”
“ They remodeled the inside since we've been here and it seems to flow much better than it used it. They have a great variety of everything. They even offer free ice near the seafood in case you need to keep items cold. I love to browse through every aisle and they have specials every week. The kimchi selection is out of this world. I love it. This time around I found mangosteen which was a great fine and not present most elsewhere. This is my favorite HMart because it's a super HMart, much bigger than the other ones and a much better variety. ”
“ H Mart is a huge Asian grocery store with a big food court inside as well. There are a ton of options - if you're looking for any kind of Asian groceries, I'm sure you will find it at H Mart in Niles. There is another smaller location for H Mart about 10-15 minutes away too (but that one doesn't have a food court). Even if you're not looking for any groceries, stop in and check out their food court for lunch or dinner - there are a ton of options ranging from sushi to Korean barbecue. ”

“ This store is amazing. Hmart has allot to offer and it's not your typical grocery store, it's so much more. I could literally walk around for hours. This particular visit we discovered that they carry sushi grade fish for diy sushi at home. They also carry rolled up meats for diy hot pot. I love hot pot. I thought it was cool that they had fresh fish available. Most grocery stores have already pre packaged or precut. It's nice that you can get it tailored to your needs. The staff is also very friendly and willing to help you find a specific item. I would recommend hmart. ”
“ Hmart in Niles has long been one of the best spots to get Asian, particularly Korean, groceries in the Chicago suburbs and in the last few years has really attracted some top notch restaurant options to their food court as well. This really makes this a must visit spot for anyone who wants to get a nice grocery, restaurant, and shopping experience all in a single place. This is particularly useful on cold or rainy days to get all your needs met without the need to go outside and walk or drive to multiple spots. Chicago is fortunately filled with many large Asian grocery stores now from Park to Shop to Joong Boo -- and more! Still, Hmart continues to provide high quality produce, cooked food, dry food, frozen food, and more that continues to make it one of the top options for me to visit. Much of this comes down to their reliable quality of food (particularly marinated KBBQ meat) along with generally competitive prices. Though with special sales or on certain products, other stores may be cheaper at times -- in general I find H-mart prices to be generally low overall on all items. Another area that Hmart has improved on over the years is overall decor. Slowly, minor improvements make the shopping experience more pleasant over time, particularly with improvements in signage and product presentation. Things are overall organized neatly and labeled well. Checkout speed is also fairly good, with a good flow even when it's busy on weekends. Overall, definitely worth a visit for your Asian food and dining needs if you live out in the suburbs. This is a one stop shop for everything you need. ”

I couldn't linger, however, I had my directives and I was short on time. "...the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to H-MART. Calms me down right away.
